Our house is a few minutes on foot from via Libertà, one of the main shopping avenues of Palermo, and from many cultural and historical places, for example Teatro Politeama. The apartment is part of one of the italian villa that had characterized Via Libertà between late-seventeenth and early-eighteenth century. Owned by Princes of Castelforte, it was built with typical architectures of that period, with an internal courtyard opened on Via Gallo. Originally made up by one ground and one noble floor, later more floors were added, creating a very interesting building. Our flat is well-furnished, with attention to details. The brightly painted walls, the furniture and the furnishings recall the colours of the sicilian seas and skies, very meaningful to us! You will enjoy a large kitchen with a dining area at your disposal, as well as a very nice living room with a flat TV and a double sofa bed, a very relaxing master room’s environment with a double bed and a cute bathroom with a shower. The kitchen and the bedroom are equipped with air con, powerful enough to keep fresh all the rooms, especially during the hot days of the typical sicilian summers. Our apartment can comfortably hosts 3 people but it can be good also for families with children or for 4 adults, albeit the double sofa bed is a french-sized bed, and it can be ok for 2 people but it is a little smaller than a double bed.
Our apartment is close to Via Libertà, perfect position to explore the historical city centre and taste the amazing cuisine around via Maqueda. Our house is a few steps away from Via Roma, where the airport shuttle stop can be found too. Shops, markets and restaurants are all around the neighborhood.
