The Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking Experience is a f’arm’-to-table cooking school located on
Tasca d’Almerita’s 19th century wine estate in the beautiful, remote Sicilian countryside. The
school is set within the 550-hectare family property at Case Vecchie and includes a working
farm and extensive vegetable garden, orchard, and herbal garden, all grown according to
organic principles. The school celebrates the connection between cooking and farming and
teaches a true f‘arm’-to-table ethos where nurturing the land and preparing and sharing a good
meal together go hand in hand.
Courses are led by Case Vecchie resident chef Michael Sampson.
The Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking Experience offers a full range of cooking courses, from one
day to one week. Longer stays can be arranged with overnights on the Case Vecchie grounds
and custom itineraries can include lessons in cooking, horticulture and cheese making as well
as wine production and coffee roasting. Excursions to surrounding towns to experience the
diverse cultures and food of the island can also be arranged. Contact us for booking longer
